About IncludeDocs
Our Mission
IncludeDocs was created by Moving Forward Small Business — a training and coaching program dedicated to helping small business owners grow, scale, and succeed.
When we began working with blind entrepreneurs, we quickly realized that most training materials — including our own — were inaccessible to screen readers. Documents that sighted people could open in seconds became hours-long ordeals for blind users, or were simply unusable.
We built IncludeDocs to fix that — not just for our own materials, but to give every blind entrepreneur a free, easy tool they can use for any document they encounter.
Why It Matters
A new update to ADA Title II regulations, effective April 2026, now requires public institutions to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards for digital content. But for blind entrepreneurs in the private sector, no such protection has historically existed.
We believe accessibility shouldn't require a lawsuit. It should be the default. IncludeDocs makes it free and effortless to do the right thing.
Built With the Community
IncludeDocs was designed with input from blind users and follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level — the same standard now required by federal law for public institutions.
The tool itself is built to be fully accessible: keyboard navigable, screen-reader compatible, with proper ARIA labels, live regions, and logical focus management throughout.
